Privacy Policy
FundPilot (“FundPilot”, “we”, “us”) provides a customer-relationship platform for business-funding companies. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, request a demo, use the FundPilot platform, or receive text messages from us or from a business that uses FundPilot, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, company, work email, phone number, team size and anything you write in a request form or message.
- Account information: for platform users, name, email, role, company and sign-in security settings.
- Business records our customers store: FundPilot customers store information about their merchants and deals in their own private workspace. Each customer controls that information; we process it on their behalf.
- Communications: texts, calls and emails sent through the platform, including delivery status and opt-out requests.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service running.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the platform and respond to your requests.
- To contact you about a demo or your account by email, phone or text, where you asked us to or agreed to it.
- To keep records required for compliance, including consent and opt-out records.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
Text messaging (SMS) privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver messages for us (such as our messaging carrier partners) and only for that purpose.
If you agree to receive texts, we keep a record of your consent (when and how you agreed). You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
How we share information
- Service providers that host, secure, deliver messages for, or support FundPilot, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Our customers: information in a customer's workspace is available to that customer and its authorized users only.
- Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information.
Security and retention
Each customer runs in an isolated workspace with role-based access, two-factor sign-in options and an audit trail. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and compliance obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link.
- Ask to access, correct or delete your information through our request form. If your information is held by a FundPilot customer, we will refer your request to them.
- Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor them as required.
Children
FundPilot is a business service and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We will post updates here and change the effective date above.
